How to play

  • Slide your finger sideways to move the coin along the edge of the board.
  • Pull back and let go to shove it. The further you pull, the harder the shove; pull to one side to angle it. The ring round the coin shows how hard, and the notch is your last shove.
  • A coin lying wholly inside a bed, not touching a brass line, scores a chalk mark there when your five coins are done. Knock your own coins up the board with the next ones.
  • A coin that doesn't reach the first line comes back to play again. One that goes off the edge or the end is gone.
  • Hold a finger on the board while the computer plays to hurry its coins along.
  • Fill every bed to win: one mark each in a quick game, three each by pub rules.
  • Once your bed is full, coins in it chalk up for your opponent instead. The one exception: their winning mark they have to score themselves.

📱Turn your phone upright. The board is long and thin, like the real one.
